I embarked on my career in 2013 as a cooperative education student, and since then, I've navigated the dynamic landscape of software development, rising through the ranks to assume the role of Director of Cloud Architecture.

My expertise lies in orchestrating complex transitions and optimizing infrastructure for peak performance and cost efficiency. I spearheaded our company's migration from single servers to a robust, highly available architecture, paving the way for enhanced scalability and reliability. I then planned and began our transition to AWS cloud, empowering our operations with unprecedented scalability. This transformation not only modernized our operations but also positioned us to scale resources up or down in response to dynamic workloads.

I played a pivotal role in revolutionizing our software release cycle. By contributing to the design and implementation of our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) system and containerization, I've helped to increase how often we ship software, while reducing bugs.

In another significant chapter, I led our migration to Kubernetes in Google Cloud, propelling our systems into a new era of flexibility and scalability. More recently, I've been at the forefront of our expansion into the Chinese market, overseeing deployment strategies tailored for mainland China.

In 2023 I orchestrated the re-tooling of our monitoring platform to ensure seamless operations across our multi-cloud, multi-regional serivces.

I've also played a major part in the re-tooling and development needed to transform our backend from a sinlge-tenant architecture to a multi-tenant one.
